Rafael Molina, Senior Research Animal Technician
Q: Tell us about your background/career path and your current position at Noble Life Sciences (NLS)
A: I graduated and received my Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electrical Systems from the National Institute Isidro Menendez in El Salvador. I started working in the Biotechnology field in 1995 at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Received my certification from ALAAS in 1997 as a Laboratory Animal Technician.
Q: How long have you worked at NLS and what do you like about working here?
A: I have been working with NLS since 2016. I enjoy working on a daily basis with my co-workers and study directors', and as well with management and administrative staff. I have gained lot of technical experience through the years working at NLS specially with the variety of animal models used for Vaccines, Oncology and Bacteriology projects and others.
Q: What has been one of your favorite projects/tasks at Noble?
A: My favorites are Oncology studies, since they are very challenging and intensive.
Q: What does your day-to-day activity at Noble look like?
A: We are very busy all day long, but the good part is that I enjoy working with my technical team and animal care.
Q: What do you look forward to when you come to work every day?
A: To complete my daily task and to make sure all technical procedures are performed as per guidelines.
Q: What do you like to do when you are not at work?
A: I enjoy my day with my daughter playing or shopping.
Q: What advice do you have for a perspective Noble employee?
A: My advice is to be ready for a family commitment environment at NLS that will provide special support technically and to care for the well being of the animals involved in our research facility.
